The primary role of a Grace Group Leader is to create a regular, predictable, and safe environment where people can pursue spiritual growth and healthy relationships. We will train you and help launch your group well through our Group Starter sessions. Our team will also provide ongoing support for you and your group throughout its duration.
As the leader, your goal is to love the people in your group as you partner with the Holy Spirit in guiding them, caring for them, encouraging them, and helping them care for one another.
A Huddle is a gender-specific, closed group of three to five believers who commit to weekly gatherings over twelve months for the purpose of intentional spiritual growth. The primary role of the leader is to love the people in your Huddle by creating a regular, predictable, and safe environment where you can pursue spiritual growth through five specific spiritual practices: scripture reading, scripture memory, journaling, prayer, and accountability.
We will train you in selecting members and facilitating your Huddle gatherings. Our team will also provide ongoing support for you and your Huddle throughout its duration.
The Baptism Team assists individuals being baptized during our Raised to Life weekends at Grace. Team members ensure everything is set up and ready for baptisms and help families and individuals walk through the process from start to finish. Team members will need to be available 30 minutes before each service and be able to stay after for spontaneous baptisms and breakdown.
Events are gatherings that foster community and spiritual growth at Grace. Members of the Event Team help to plan, coordinate, and execute events whether at the campus or at an offsite location.
The primary role of a Premarital Mentor at Grace is to help equip premarital couples for a healthy Jesus-centered marriage by teaching them vital skills, providing tools, and sharing their own life experiences. Marriage Mentors are a resource of support, encouragement, and accountability for premarital couples before and after the wedding ceremony.
Marriage Mentors are mature followers of Jesus who have been married for at least seven years. They have flexibility to mentor couples as opportunities arise and can commit to at least 10 sessions with each couple. We train our mentors and provide them with all the resources they need.
