Grace Students (5th-12th grade) exists to help every student become an outward-focused follower of Jesus. Wednesday nights are dedicated to Grace Students (6th-12th grade) with a number of events happening throughout the year. G56 (5th-6th grade) happens on Sunday mornings. It is an exciting ministry that helps kids develop their own faith and bridges the gap from childhood to adolescence. Come partner with Grace Students and help us change the lives of students! The vision of Grace Students is to help every student become an outward-focused follower of Jesus. Your job as a Grace Group Leader is to lead students in this vision; pouring into them, so that they feel compelled to pour into others. As a high school grace group leader, you and at least one other co-leader will be responsible for discipling a group of high school students. You will play a crucial role in the spiritual development of these students through the relationship you build with them, mentoring them, teaching them, praying for them, and leading them through grace group discussions and activities on Wednesday nights.
On Wednesday nights, doors open and students begin arriving at 5:30, service starts at 6:30, grace groups start at 7:45, and dismissal is at 8:30. We ask that grace group leaders arrive by 6:00 (5:30 if possible) to spend time with students before service, sit with their students during service, and lead the grace group time from 7:45-8:30.
We expect that our GS grace group leaders are walking with God themselves and regularly attending services at Grace Church. Training will be provided for all volunteers working with students, and background checks are required for those who are 18+.

As a middle school grace group leader, you and at least one other co-leader will be responsible for discipling a group of middle school students. You will play a crucial role in the spiritual development of these students through the relationship you build with them, mentoring them, teaching them, praying for them, and leading them through grace group discussions and activities on Wednesday nights.
G56 small group leaders will be responsible for leading the small group discussion portion of our G56 service. They will spend time with students during the hangout time, sit with them during the large teaching time, and then split into smaller groups to lead students through the discussion about the lesson and/or small group activity.
All content and supplies are provided for this position. We expect that our GS grace group leaders are walking with God themselves and regularly attending Sunday services at Grace Church. Training will be provided for all volunteers working with students, and background checks are required for those who are 18+.
Check-in volunteers help create a warm, welcoming environment for all students, parents, and leaders coming in the door at GS on Wednesday nights. They ensure that every adult and student who comes to GS checks in as they enter the building and they help ensure a smooth check-in process for new and returning students. Volunteers for this team must be available on Wednesdays from 5:15-6:45 on the weeks they serve.
The GS safety response team conducts safety sweeps, looks for safety issues (DLR), and watches for anything that could be a safety issue on Wednesday nights. Each team member will coordinate with the rest of the team to address issues and will follow SRT procedures for handling emergencies (missing person, fire, severe weather, disruptive behavior, etc). Safety training will be provided for every member of this team.
As part of the GS worship team, you will play a vital role in creating a dynamic and engaging worship experience for our students. The GS worship team leads our students in several worship songs during the large group portion of each Wednesday night service. Worship sets vary from a full band to a one-person acoustic set depending on the night and the campus.
Volunteers on this team must be available for the Wednesday night service (6:30-7:45 pm) as well as rehearsal on the weeks they are playing in the band. Both students and adults can volunteer for this team. A background check is required for those who are 18+.
There is a worship element during every G56 service which includes live worship, videos, teaching, and occasionally attending the worship portion of the adult service. The G56 worship team helps create a dynamic and engaging worship experience for our students during Sunday morning G56 services.
Students or adults can serve on this team during a G56 Sunday service as often as they are able. A background check is required for those who are 18+.
GS Production volunteers are responsible for running sound, lights, and media during our Wednesday night services (6:30-7:45 pm) to provide the best atmosphere possible during each service. This position is open for students or adults, and you can serve as often as you are able on Wednesday nights.
Training for each position on this team will be provided, and all equipment is maintained by production staff. A background check is required for those who are 18+.
All of our G56 services have audio and visual components (lights, sounds, worship lyric videos, slides, etc). This team is in charge of running these things smoothly to provide the best atmosphere possible for the students.
We’re looking for someone who can follow along in a script and follow prompts from the speaker to make sure the correct things appear on the screen as prompted in the lesson. Students or adults can serve on this team during a G56 Sunday service as often as they are able.
This team helps ensure a smooth execution of Wednesday night services for students and volunteers by making sure the space is ready for their arrival by the time the doors open at 5:30, cleaning up once students go into service at 6:30, and helping with teardown after dismissal at 8:30. A volunteer on this team can help with all or one of these roles on a Wednesday night as often as their schedule allows. A background check will be required for anyone who is 18+.
This team will help each campus with the planning and execution of special events to help create memorable and impactful experiences for our students. Volunteers will help with event preparation, decorations, set up, food, logistics, and tear down/clean up.
This role has very flexible hours with an increased time commitment leading up to and during each event.
Café attendants provide warm hospitality and sell snacks, pizza and beverages on Wednesday nights. Volunteers help keep the café well cared for by keeping the café clean and organized. This volunteer remains in the café from the time students start arriving at 5:30 until just after service starts at 6:30 (total time commitment is approximately 5:15 to 6:45 on Wednesday evenings).
This team assists a campus and/or campus support team with basic admin tasks during the week such as sending birthday cards, scheduling vendors for events, prepping and distributing materials, etc. Tasks can vary week to week depending on which campus you are working with and what is needed. This role has a fairly flexible schedule that can be discussed with the GS director at the campus you are working with.
This volunteer helps create a safe and welcoming environment for students during Wednesday night services and GS events. They will greet students in the lobby as they arrive and stay in the lobby during service as a resource for students if they need anything and to help enforce established GS rules and safety measures.
Volunteers on this team must be available during Wednesday night services (5:30-8:30 pm) on the weeks they are serving. Training will be provided for all volunteers on this team, and background checks are required for those who are 18+.
This team will play a vital role in creating, planning, and executing engaging events for 5th through 12th-grade students (and sometimes GS leaders and parents as well) at Grace Church. This role includes brainstorming, managing event logistics, scheduling, developing promotional materials, communicating event details, and coordinating with other volunteers. Volunteers on this team will work alongside our GS campus support team leading up to every event to ensure all details are in place for the event. This role has very flexible hours with an increased time commitment leading up to and during each event.
At Grace Students we create all of our curriculum, resources, and media ourselves. This team works alongside our GS Campus Support team and encompasses a variety of different roles including resource creation, digital media, and curriculum development and review.
If you are interested in graphic design, social media, photography, videography, editing, curriculum writing, curriculum review, brainstorming, planning, proofreading, or anything else related to content creation, we would love to have you work with our team to be a resource for Grace Students. This is a mostly virtual volunteer role with occasional meetings. Most content creation can be done on your own time with extremely flexible schedules.
