Knowing Jesus

In 2026, our focus is on Knowing Jesus through His Life, Death, and Resurrection. Knowing Jesus is more than just an isolated spiritual experience or cramming the correct information into our heads; it’s about the transformation of our hearts that happens when we encounter the living Jesus.

Our teaching team does an excellent job of equipping us with the truth of God’s Word, and this year, we will also be creating intentional spaces called Encounters, where that truth can move from our heads to our hearts. In these spaces, we’ll meet the living God through Scripture, Prayer, Mission, Community, Sacraments, Suffering, and Service. All places where the Lord promises His presence to meet us. The hope here is to help everyone know Jesus both intellectually and experientially. Just as they would a real person. Through this, our prayer is that the people of Grace will be formed into the image of Christ, for the sake of others.

Scripture - Reading Plan

Scripture is the truth of God revealed to humanity, and that Truth is a person. His name is Jesus Christ. One of the ways we will encounter Jesus in 2026 is by spending the year walking through the Gospel of Luke as a church family.

To help you engage Scripture daily, we’ve created a Luke reading plan designed to meet you in the rhythms of everyday life and invite you into a deeper, personal encounter with Jesus. We invite you to join us in reading a chapter of Luke each day and meditating on the teaching passage from Sunday.

How We Live At Grace Church

At Grace Church, we encounter Jesus through Scripture
by pursuing truth and the heart of God in a culture of searching and confusion.

At Grace Church, we encounter Jesus through Prayer
by cultivating unceasing dependence on God in a culture of self-reliance.

At Grace Church, we encounter Jesus through Mission
by joining God in the redemption of the world in a culture of self-glorification.

At Grace Church, we encounter Jesus through Community
by pursuing connection and depth in a culture of individualism and superficiality.

At Grace Church, we encounter Jesus through Sacraments (Ordinances)
by practicing unity with Christ and His body in a culture of hurry and isolation.

At Grace Church, we encounter Jesus through Suffering
by living vulnerably to bear one another's burdens in a culture of self-protection.

At Grace Church, we encounter Jesus through Service
by seeing and meeting the needs of others in a culture of selfish ambition.

I want to know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised him from the dead.
I want to suffer with him, sharing in his death,
